Yes you are a Criminal

Reading and article this morning titled, "US makes criminals priority for deportation" , once again this gets my dander up !

#1 - They are ALL criminals, are they all violent or dangerous criminals, of course not but they are all criminals.

Crime is defined as " the breach of rules or laws for which some governing authority can ultimately prescribe a conviction."

A criminal is someone who commits a crime.

A litmus test !

- Have they breached a rule or law, YES or they would not be in consideration for deportation.

- Is there a governing authority for these rules/laws, YES

- Can a conviction be prescribed, YES, you can be convicted of breaking immigration laws and rules.

Litmus test - PASSED (or failed depending on your outlook)

The article is appropriately garnished with a picture of a little girl holding a sign that says " Stop tearing families apart", hey little girl, your parents are to blame for putting the family into this position, not the country that they have invaded. Here's a little more fame for the little girl, the AP article identifies her as 12 year old Jaquelin Minero. The article is written by Alicia A. Caldwell.

At a time of high unemployment and economic hard times for Americans, our government wants to allow many of these pending cases to be allowed to stay in the country and apply for a work permit ! What the heck, take care of your citizens first !

Read the whole article here http://news.yahoo.com/us-makes-criminals-priority-deportation-055021306.html for as long as it works !

Congress - Get your priorities straight.

Dear Members of Congress,

the next time you think about what to pay and what not to pay during a financial crisis (of your own making), please consider the following list.

1. Foreign Governments (this could be divided into several sub-categories)
2. Foreign Aid
3. Grants to any person or entity based/headquartered outside the United States.
4. Grants to any non-defense related entity, and stop stretching the definition of "defense related".
5. Congressional Staff pay - each one of you does not need dozens of people working for you !
6. Social Programs in order of the percentage of population actually served, least to most.

This will be a good start, contact me when you get these done and I will let you know where to go from there.

Chapter 3: The Responsibility in Government Act

The purpose of this chapter will be to set some standards for our members of Congress to conduct themselves by, no easy feat for some members.

For example - no member of Congress may vote on a bill they have not read.

Tea Party to Blame for Credit Rating Downgrade ??

Below is an AP story that caught my eye this morning .....

WASHINGTON (AP) — A top White House adviser is blaming the downgrade of the U.S. credit rating on tea party Republicans, whom he says were unwilling to compromise on how to reduce the federal debt.

The adviser to President Barack Obama, David Axelrod, tells CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday that the decision by the Standard & Poor's credit agency to downgrade the U.S. from AAA to AA+ for the first time was strongly influenced by weeks of standoff between Democrats and Republicans over the debt.

Axelrod calls the action, in his words, "a tea party downgrade" and says it's clearly on the backs of lawmakers who were willing to see the country default to get their way.

Axelrod also criticized GOP presidential candidates for not speaking up in favor of compromise.

All I can say is "WOW", the only way you can really blame the Tea Party movement on this is if you actually passed a bill that the Tea Party folks were in favor of and then the Credit Rating was downgraded. How does it make sense that you did exactly the opposite of what a group wanted and then blame them when things go bad ?

By the way, if the U.S. Government was an individual citizen and had a real credit report, then the FICO score that they would have achieved by managing their debt and income the way they have would be in the three hundreds by now !

Well folks,

I don't even know where to begin, all the recent hype from our reps and reps to be from the last election cycle and the one coming up. Several got elected telling us no more business as usual in Washington and they get it that we are tired of the out of control spending. Now we have a candidate for Governor who is currently in Congress and has been saying the same thing over the last few years.

The short story is this .... they lied.

Too P.O.'s to write this coherently, so I'll just post the list on the vote :
