Chapter Two - The Clean Bill Act

Outline to be fleshed out later:

This bill may not be altered or amended.

Purpose: To make the writing of a Bill simple and understandable to all who read it.

All bills from this date forward will be written in common English that each and every Citizen of average intelligence and education can read and easily comprehend.

No bill may be longer than 250 pages.

No Bill may have more than 10 amendments attached.

No amendment may be attached to a bill that is not directly related to the subject of the bill.

No amendment can exceed 10 pages in length.

No member of Congress shall vote on any bill that they have not read in it's entirety

Chapter One "An Open Letter to Congress"

Dear Members of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Represetatives,

please recognize the fact that the majority of "We The People" have lost faith in you and your ability to seperate your personal goals and aspirations, the goals and aspirations of your political parties and the goals and aspirations of your major donors from your duties to uphold the Constitution, the laws of the land and most importantly the sacred trust that your constituents have placed upon you by electing you to office.

Recent election cycles should have shown you this but many of you have chosen to attack the American people as uneducated and uniformed, claiming that we just "do not understand the issues". We are here to tell you that it is you who "do not understand", you have been elected to your post to represent us not yourself, your donors and your party.

There are a series of steps that you will have to engage in before our trust is restored in you, in many cases, you the incumbant will never regain that trust and it is time for you to step aside and allow another to take your place.

The Founding Fathers did not envision career politicians when they created our system of government. They envisioned a government of the people, dominated by the working classes, this has been perverted into a den of professional politicians who are only mindfull of their own re-election.

The first thing you must do is clean up the legislative process, return it to it's origins of being simple and pure, will it ever be perfect, no it will not, nothing ever is. Make your bills understandable and take the time to read them before you vote. Progress is not simply change, but change for the better. What our system has been turned into in the name of progress is and endless morass of legalese and subterfuge that no one can understand, yourselves included.

Your second task will be to impose ethics on yourselves that will enable us to trust your motives and then to enforce those ethics.

Several other tasks will be required and I will not outline them here, this will be a good start for you but I doubt that many of you will take the call.

Go Congressman West

We need more Congressmen like Allan West, not afraid to take it to the left !

I have several problems with this article written by Holly Bailey, from the title of the article it suggests that this was a "tirade" yet when you read the examples from the email it merely sounds like one Congressman telling another to behave in a professional manner.

Sounds like someone from Rep. Wasserman-Schultz's office wanted to make a private email public in the spirit of "I'm gonna tell !".

Grow up Rep. Wasserman, take your lumps, you're the one who decided to wait until Rep. West was no longer on the floor to defend himself to launch into your own attack, and then "leak" the email when it came to you.

Then she turns her attention to attempting to scare her constituents with the same old mantra of the GOP wants to take your medicare benefits, not admitting to the fact that the medicare system is the most broken health care insurance of all of the possible medical insurance systems that can be had !

Debt Limit

Why is it so hard to understand people ???

1. Debt is what got us into this mess .... more debt won't help !

2. The equation is simple - don't spend more than you take in !

3. Money from a loan is not income - it is expense - you have to pay back more than you get !

4. The only source of income for the Federal Government is the U.S. Taxpayer

President Obama .... quit the out of control spending, period.

Debt Limit Increases

Funny how the Democrats think this is bad when a Republican is President but good when a Democrat is President ....


In 2006 every single Democrat voted against a debt limit increase (including then Senator Obama)

...but the Dems are not partisan, just ask them, they'll tell you !

AFL-CIO confirms their support of La Raza
