Immigration

I have really tried to ignore some of the latest developments on this front but I guess the straw that broke the camels back was the "new" Star Spangled Banner and the national boycott by immigrants.

All of this is a slap in the face to me and my wife (an immigrant herself). I served in the armed forces until my retirement in 1995 and the re-writing of the National Anthem is quite frankly insulting. Immigrants come to this country because of what we are here. I traveled to many countries while in the military and the common thread in every country was a simple one, you adapt to the local culture and customs, you didn't expect your host country to adapt to you. My wife and I are also insulted by the notion of yet another amnesty program, we went through the extremely long and aggravating process to get her here legally, if we could do it so can anyone else....unless they have something to hide, or just don;t feel they should be bothered by the requirements.............

Time now for our own boycott as Americans................

Sometime soon we should all boycott immigrant owned business' and businesses that employ immigrants especially if you feel they employ illegal immigrants....lets see what kind of effect that would have...........
