I'm so glad that the Democrats are running the legislative branch of federal gonvernment now..I can sleep so much easier knowing that they are watching out for us..for example

Their new tax plan will...

Raise the 10 % bracket to 15%....for 5 million taxpayers
Start up the marriage penalty again...for 23 million taxpayers
Cut the child tax credit in half...for 31 million taxpayers

Democrats were reported to say "We're your friend, except you 59 million folks..America, we'll screw the rest of you later"

They say their plan will generate 400 billion dollars in tax revenue..for those who need it explained that is a tax increase on the order of......

$400,000,000,000.00

Gov. Daniels

In March on Gov. Daniels watch...

Avon - Harlan Bakeries, said it has managed to retain 245 jobs at $14.66 and hour and plans to expand another 150 jobs.

Michigan City - Vanair Manufacturing says it plans to build a 60,000 sf facility that will more than double it's workforce.

Carmel - BHC Marketing says it plans to open a Midwest regional office employing 20.

Carmel - Oxford BioSignals Medical plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from the U.K. to Carmel Indiana and expect to create 120 high-paying jobs over the next 5 years.

Greensburg - Honda broke ground for its new plant which will employ around 2000 people.

These are just the tip of the iceburg...more but not all.......

Connersville - Indalex - 62 jobs
Plainfield - Tyco Healthcare - 85 jobs
Evansville - Berry Plastics Corp - 49 jobs
New Castle - New Castle Correctional Facilty - 230 jobs

I thought all American jobs were going oversea's...I'm glad I don't listen to my doom and gloom Democrat friends....

Iraq Pullout

Senator Harry Reid is one of my favorite folks to scorn at the present, perhaps he should think before he speaks. Imagine yourself as one of our brave folks who are serving in Iraq hearing the majority leader saying that Iraq is lost...where does your morale go ?

The Senator can have any veiw he wants privately..but to go on TV and make statements like that is degrading to those who serve..perhaps there is not a large military turnout for the vote in his state. More likely scenario is that he detests the military like most on his side of the aisle.

Senator Reid...I hope your constituents retire you next election, because like many elected officials, you have forgotten that you serve the American people..not yourself.

If you have your way, the insurgents will know exacly how long they have to hold out, you'll be a real general in Al Qaida before long (promoted for your handing them victory) and you won't have to be an armchair general any longer.

I can't believe that it's been 3 month's since I've updated this BLOG.. I'll see if I can get caught up..so much to say and so little time.. I wish I could type a couple of hundred words a minute like my wife !!!
