Indiana House District 64

Another day of taxation without representation in Indiana House District 64 because our elected representative, Kreg Battles, is still hiding from his responsibilities.

He believes it is more important to lock step with members of his profession in protecting a broken public school system than to allow Hoosiers to have a choice with thier tax dollars. The goo news is that he is at "complete peace" with his choice to hide in Illinois with his fellow Democrats.

Day 25

It's the 25th day, (I believe), of the walkout by Indiana Democrat's.

Kreg Battles, my representative, is among them. 25 days of my not having a voice in the legislature. Mr. Battles counts himself among the states educators and fells completely justified by walking out on his sworn duties.

Like so many others in the political arena, my elected representative has forgotten or chose to ignore the fact that he is elected to represent his district's citizens ... not just himself, or his friends, or just the folks who voted for him, or the members of his chosen profession.

Democrats ran from their duties in protest of a "Right to Work" bill .... the bill was effectively killed by missing a procedural vote. Then the Democrats identified 6 more bills they were upset by ... then is was 11 ... now I don't know how many they are scared of, but the fact is that I have no representative ... I wonder, do I get my taxes back for these days lost ?

The Democrats say this is not a partisan issue, if that is the case why are there no Republicans hiding out with them in the Peoples Republic of Illinois ?

.... makes you wonder doesn't it ?
