Yes you are a Criminal

Reading and article this morning titled, "US makes criminals priority for deportation" , once again this gets my dander up !

#1 - They are ALL criminals, are they all violent or dangerous criminals, of course not but they are all criminals.

Crime is defined as " the breach of rules or laws for which some governing authority can ultimately prescribe a conviction."

A criminal is someone who commits a crime.

A litmus test !

- Have they breached a rule or law, YES or they would not be in consideration for deportation.

- Is there a governing authority for these rules/laws, YES

- Can a conviction be prescribed, YES, you can be convicted of breaking immigration laws and rules.

Litmus test - PASSED (or failed depending on your outlook)

The article is appropriately garnished with a picture of a little girl holding a sign that says " Stop tearing families apart", hey little girl, your parents are to blame for putting the family into this position, not the country that they have invaded. Here's a little more fame for the little girl, the AP article identifies her as 12 year old Jaquelin Minero. The article is written by Alicia A. Caldwell.

At a time of high unemployment and economic hard times for Americans, our government wants to allow many of these pending cases to be allowed to stay in the country and apply for a work permit ! What the heck, take care of your citizens first !
