In 1987 Al Sharpton spread a hoax story that a 15 year old black girl was abducted, raped and smeared with feces by a group of white men, he went so far as singling out a particular man a and said "If we're lying, sue us...". The man does and wins $345,000....oops Al
In 1991 a Jewish cab driver accidentally kills a 7 year old black boy. Al Sharpton rails against "diamond merchants" at the funeral and then mobilizes thousands to protest by marching through a Jewish neighborhood. The mob shouts things like "kill the Jews" they surround a rabbinical student and stab him to death.
1995 - A black landlord raises the rent on a white tenant, the white tenant in turn raises the rent on a black sub tenant. Al Sharpton uses the dispute to incite racial tension..saying "We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business" The reverend Sharptons National Action Network sets up picket lines and spits on people going into the store, blacks going into the store are called "traitors" and "Uncle Toms"... the crowd chants "Burn the Jew store" among other things. Rev. Sharptons colleague Morris Powell says "We're going to see that this cracker suffers" On December 8th a protestor bursts into the store, shoots 4 employees, sets fire to the store and 7 employees die in the fire.
Jesse Jackson is not clean either..he was quoted in an inteview referring to Jews as "Hymies" and New York as "Hymietown". He figured since the interviewer was black that jis comments would not be repeated. He was only partially correct, the reporter did not include the comments in his own story but allowed another reporter to use the quotes in another story on the Rev. Jackson.
Mybe these two "Reverends" should clean their own closets before getting their "face time" on the news.
