The Face of a Party
While it is true that there are many self professed "conservative" Democrats and there are many "liberal" Republicans, the plain and simple truth is that when choosing your party of choice you have to look at the parties national platform and it's leaders and so called shining stars.
Sen. John Kerry recently insinuated that U.S. service members are uneducated, he quickly back peddled saying that his remarks were merely a botched joke...if this is the case it is still just as bad, here we have a leader in the Senate and someone who wants to be President of the United States thinking that proper material for the humor section of his presentation should use the U.S. Military as the rube in his jokes.
On the other side of the coin, if it was an intentional shot at the military then the man needs to be stripped of his citizenship and sent to a country where he will be more content. I do believe that this was an intentional and calculated gouge at the military.
Decide for yourself...
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make and effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
Sen. John Kerry
That's what the man said....
The Democrats stand for...
Big Government
Higher Taxes
More Government involvement in everyday life
Abortion
Gun Control
Homosexual Marriage
The Republicans stand for...
Smaller Government
Lower Taxes
Personal Responsibility
Sanctity of Life
Traditional Marriage
Personal Freedom
All candidates eventually adopt the national parties philosophy, either openly or covertly, remember that when you vote...
Evan Bayh is a prime example, he comes to Indiana and touts his Hoosier values, he campaigns like a conservative and then goes back to Washington DC and votes like the true liberal he is...you can check his voting record yourself....
