Governor Daniels Tax Plan

Here's the short story the way I understand it...

Residential Property Tax capped at 1%

1 penny on the dollar increase to state sales tax.

Removal of child welfare and school costs from the property tax roles.

End result;

9th lowest property tax in the nation.
reduction of property tax by around 40%.
property tax capped by state constitutional amendment.

I think we all win with this one.
