Rep. Cynthia McKinney Incident

This is another situation where a Democrat thinks she should be treated differently (better) than anyone else..

The media is giving her a pass also..listen to the accounts..they are somehow refraining from mentioning her party affiliation...wonder why !!

I checked out her official house website today and it displays the following..

The Senators and Representatives shall receive a compensation for their services, to be ascertained by law, and paid out of the treasury of the United States. They shall in all cases, except treason, felony and breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any speech or debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other place."

Apparently she was involved in an incident in which she by-passed the metal detector on the way into and office building in DC. When she was confronted by a Capital Police Officer she ignored his order to stop (three times). When the officer stopped her by grabbing her arm, she turned and struck him....

1. Yes she is allowed to by-pass security in the performance of her duties.
2. She is REQUIRED to wear her congressional pin (she did not have it on)
3. She showed ID only after the altercation...
4. She expected the officer to recognize her on sight...and was insulted that he did not.

My conclusion ... SPOILED BRAT member of Congress...

She says she was only confronted because she is black... not because she did not have on the pin that she is required to wear..not because she ignored the officers order to stop...
